 Hello,

I'm with Siteground and thinking of using the Cloudfare CDN service.

Is there anything I should look out for, or are there any known issues when used with Admin Tools?

It should work right out of the box. SiteGround has already done the necessary configuration on their servers.

Please note that with a CDN you will probably observe a slightly lower number of security exceptions. This is normal. Some malicious requests are blocked by CloudFlare and never make it to your server.

Thanks for your rely Nicholas.

And no issue using the GeoIP blocking features (and GeoIP system plugin) of Admin Tools alongside CloudFlare? Will the correct IP address of users be detected by Admin Tools?

The only thing that will not work is the Geographic IP blocking. CloudFlare serves your site's pages without going through your server. This means that Admin Tools does not have the chance to check the originating IP's country on every request and this feature cannot possibly work.

All other features regarding IP addresses (e.g. automatic block) will work, as CloudFlare is passing the original user's IP to SiteGround which is then passing it to PHP, so Admin Tools does see the real visitor's IP address.
