I have a cron job set up to run the PHP File Scanner on a weekly basis. The last time it ran I got an email that said:
Fatal error: Class AEPlatformJfscan contains 3 abstract methods and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (AEPlatformInterface::set_flash_variable, AEPlatformInterface::get_flash_variable, AEPlatformInterface::redirect) in /home/tenprogram/www/www/administrator/components/com_admintools/akeeba/platform/jfscan/platform.php on line 811

When I log in to the administration and try to run the File Scanner manually I get a 500 Server Error message.

How can I fix this?

Thank you,
David Suna

This was fixed in Admin Tools 2.6.2. As you can see in the changelog we have this critical bug fix item:
PHP File Change Scanner was broken due to missing method declarations

This is exactly what you are reporting here. Please upgrade to the latest Admin Tools version.
