Hi There,

I have a client who is locked out of his admin panel. The admin protection password was enabled and he does not know the password. I have been asked to assist.

I have checked the admintools_storage table in the database but there is no mention of a password in the cparams key value field.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The password requirement is in the .htaccess file. All you need to do is delete or rename the .htaccess file in the /administrator folder and that will disable the password.
