what page do I need to edit to create a custom 'blocked' page - and do I need to change anything in the WAF settings to make that page active?

thank you in advance,
robb

Robb,

I don't understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to put a password on your back end access?

Dale,
sorry. I should have done a better job explaining:

I have a site where there is a front end user login. I am using admintools on the site to block repeated unsuccessful attempts to login. currently when that happens (after 5 attempts) they are directed to a blank page that provides a message I have on the admintools WAF settings... however I would like to make a custom page so I can put the logo, and a better message that gives options to them on how to contact me to be unblocked from the site.

I thought I had found the page (components/com_admintools/views/blocks/tmpl/default.php) but it doesn't seem to use that page.

so I am wondering if there is a different page, or if I have to remove the current message in the admintools settings to get the custom page to work.

thanks
robb

Now I understand. You can change the default message:
You are a spammer, hacker or an otherwise bad person.
under Configure WAF. You can't direct the reject to an article or custom page.
