 Hi there

I used AdminTools to set site into emergency offline. Then i updated Akeeba Pro and AdminTools Pro, no problems whatsoever. Decided to try a Joomla upgrade (3.2.3 - 3.3.0) with Emergency Offline and got: ERROR: The archive file is corrupt, truncated or archive parts are missing. And sure enough, there was only a partial d/l of joomla into the tmp directory.

It's ok, I've fixed it and was just experimenting. My question is: is that the expected behaviour? The manual says Emergency Offline is not suitable for every purpose. Upgrading Joomla being one of them?

Kind regards
AP Clarke

I don't think the partial download and the Emergency Offline are related. I think the partial download is just happenstance.

I will try setting the Emergency Offline and doing a J Upgrade on the next round of upgrades and report back. I'm reading between the lines on your answer that theoretically it should be ok to do this.
