Hello,

No matter the setting of allowing or not the user edit capability, I can always edit the admin, superadmin users. I can create superadmins also with either Yes or No set in the Joomla hardening firewall section.

I found this on google searches and others relating to how to disable/enable But none of them provided a fix. #9976 – "Disable editing backend users' properties" not working.

Searched google with site:akebabackup.com

The exceptions graph is showing exceptions for adminpw and loginfailure.

I checked the plugins-system- main.php file. It's there.

I checked and this feature seems to not be working on another Joomla 3.3.x site on my Siteground Cloud server as well.

Thanks
D.

You IP address is in the Administrator IP Whitelist. That short circuits Admin Tools in several areas and lets your IP do things that would not otherwise be permitted.

I checked and I do not have any IP's in the Akeebe Admin Exceptions from Blocking or in the Whitelist. However I do see my IP and my previous IP listed in the Security Exceptions log. In the log I can either look at the exception or blacklist the IP. I do not think blacklisting me is a good idea :)?
Thanks for the quick comments. But still not working right. Is there any specific php which needs to be on or off to have this work?

No, all of Admin Tools' functions go through /administrator/index.php, which is "permitted" in the .htaccess restrictions.

I'll have to check with Nicholas in the morning to see what I'm missing.

Davide was able to duplicate the problem this morning. He's going to discuss it with Nicholas.
