 Hi,

Was at a Joomla Day workshop yesterday. Akeeba backup rocks! It was a J2.5 to J3 migration. Every significant step of the process in preparation to upgrade was followed by a backup. It was the only thing that kept us designer/developers/implementers sane. Not sure how I'd do it without your tools.

My question...

I've migrated a wordpress website to easyblog and need to redirect post-links indexed by search engines to avoid a dip in SEO rank by breaking all URLs. Easyblog appends "/entry/" to an otherwise meta-data based URL.

Can I do this with Admin Tools?

Thanks in advanced!

Hello Bernard,

Admin Tools can create a redirect for a single page, but this could be very tedious if you have an entire site section to rewrite.
You can easily achieve that using .htaccess rules: you can create a rule that "injects" the entry word inside your URL, finally you can add it to the .htaccess file using the field Custom .htaccess rules at the top of the file inside the Htacces Maker page.
