 When I put in what I believe to be the two correct user names and passwords the site errors out with the following code I changed the domain name

Warning: require_once(/home/content/12/9871812/html/domainname/administrator/components/com_admintools/classes/joomlacode.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in/home/content/12/9871812/html/domainname/administrator/components/com_admintools/models/jupdate.php on line 85

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/content/12/9871812/html/domainname/administrator/components/com_admintools/classes/joomlacode.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5_3/lib/php') in/home/content/12/9871812/html/domainname/administrator/components/com_admintools/models/jupdate.php on line 85

I have gone to database and confirmed user names are correct. I have renamed the htacces files and also changed to main-disable.php

I am not able to log in to upgrade. Not even sure it is not another error that trigged by admin tools. No idea what to do on line 85 so need help to log in. Please let me know if I need to get anyother information with out logging in.

Hello David,

first of all you have to manually disable Admin Tools on your site; you can do that following this guide.
Then update to the latest version, we just added an integrity check, so we'll see if you have any missing file.

I have done the disable function described in the link but the issue is it throws the error and can not log in since it does not display the back end of the site just the error message I posted. So I can not upgrade. Is there a way I can edit some files so it will go past line 85 so it can get in? Or based on your response are you saying i did not disable the file correctly?

I have done the "main-disable.php" When I try and log in with wrong ID the screen refreshes and shows me it is wrong when I use iether of the 2 logins that I believe to be correct it goes to that error page and am stuck there.

When this error is displayed, edit the URL in your browser's address bar. Append
?option=com_installer
so now it reads something like http://www.example.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_installer where http://www.example.com is the URL to your site. This takes you to the Extensions Manager. From there you can update or remove Admin Tools.
