Hi

I have a J 3.3.6 website that has an entry form for a dog show that is done using Chronoforms.
I have good experience with Admin Tools on other joomla websites, but I would like to know if it's possible to be conflicts between the Admin Tools and Chronoforms. I am asking before installing Admin Tools. I am worried that my client may loose entries in case the Admin Tools creates problems. Sorry for my question, but I don't know how Admin Tools may consider a spammer. I guess that the forms must be submitted very fast to be block the user, so I believe it should be safe for a well-intended user.
Thanks

Most "well behaved" Joomla! extensions are called through either the front end or back end index.php files. In most cases, Admin Tools will not block extensions called in this way. It is assumed that any php file called directly is a threat and will not be allowed to execute. Sometimes, by choice or necessity, a php file has to be called directly. In that case, you can set up exemptions in Admin Tools to allow this to happen.

For things like cross site scripting (XSS) protection, you can set up an exemption for a specific extension, even a specific view of the extension, if that protection interferes with the operation of the extension.

What I'm trying to say, in my wandering way, is that if Admin Tools breaks it, we can nearly always make it work again.
  1. Make a backup before you start. Everything goes better with a current backup.
  2. Test it on a Development copy of the site first, if possible.
  3. If you run into trouble, just ask.
