#22692 Never block based on User Agent

 Hi,
we have a client that is using a Gomez tool to check site performance.

It is sometimes blocked by Admin Tools.
As it is using dynamic IP addresses, we cannot use the "never block" utility.

They use a custom User Agent to "ping the website".

Would it be possible to add a "never block" user agent functionality ?

We can block by user agent, but we can't unblock by user agent.

We can usually set up an exception in the WAF to allow for situations like this. Does the block leave a message in your Security Exceptions log? If so, we need that information to set up the exception.

It is sometimes blocked by Admin Tools.
That doesn't sound right. Admin Tools should be an all or nothing block.

You are right, it sure needs a more deeper investigation on our part.

I'll go back to you with more informations if we are not able to fix this.
If we are, I'll post what we did not see at first sight.
