Dear Akeeba,

A users IP address was blocked on my website due to loginfailure.

When I hover over the "i" in the Reason column I can clearly see what the person entered in the login box (see screenshot).

Based on this, it looks like the user tried to login using his email - but what is interesting is that the email that was entered does not have the "@" symbol.

So the question is:

1. Is AdminTools automatically removing the "@" sign before showing it over the mouse hover? OR

2. Is this really what the user entered? Which would of course make sense why AT would think its an invalid login. But its unlikely that a person would forget the "@" symbol when entering any email.

Note: The email used in the screenshot is simply an example, this is not the real email.

[Off topic] - Im not even sure if you can login in to Joomla using your email, or do you always have to use the username.

Hello Joseph,

I just ran some tests and I was able to use the password as username.
I suspect the user simply used the wrong password. Anyway I saw that the @ char was stripped, we will fix it in the next release.

Thanks tampe125. I saw another user try to login using their email and in AT, it did not show the "@" symbol. So it looks like AT is removing it, thanks for including it in the next feature.
