I was locked out from the site. I disabled the main.php, entered the site to clean up the IP from firewall.

Then I saw the message and upgraded Admin Tools. Maybe this was my mistake. Now I cannot get rid of those messages:

Your Admin Tools installation is corrupt

Missing folders

Missing or tampered files

cli/admintools-dbrepair.php (missing)
cli/admintools-filescanner.php (missing)
cli/admintools-update.php (missing)

++++++++++++++++++++
Also I see the message:
An updated version of Admin Tools (3.6.7) is available for installation.

This is an OLDER version that it prompts me to upgrade.

The corrupt installation does not have anything to do with your previous problem. This is an incomplete installation due to a glitch in the Joomla! Installer where it fails to copy all of the files during an installation or update. You need to download the Admin Tools component from our website and install it twice, back to back, without doing anything else in between. Do not uninstall. That will cause you to lose all of your settings.

For the upgrade notice, the version is just stuck in the Joomla! cache. You can go to the Joomla! Update screen and press the Clear button. That will clear the cache and kill the update notice.

I had installed the Admin Tools back to back twice.

I had also cleared the cache.

Problem remains.

Then the problem becomes a little more difficult. Are those three files actually there? If they are not, you can extract the Admin Tools zip file locally and copy the files to your site via FTP.

If they disappear again after you copy them via FTP, then your host is deleting them. They are getting a false positive on them from and anti-virus or security setting and are deleting them without warning. You will need to talk to your host and get them to whitelist the files.

Hi Dale

I checked the /home/xyz/mywebsite.com/cli directory. Those files ARE there. Please see the screenshot.

Just to make sure I deleted the Update cache. Uploaded and installed 2 times Admin Tools, then cleared the Update cache again.

dlb
Please delete those three files out of the /cli folder and update Admin Tools one more time. Since they don't exist, they have to copy into the folder.

The only other thing it could be is that the verification file is wrong. I've updated all of my sites and didn't have a problem, so I don't think that is it.
