Just an question and idea. I notice that lots of Ip's are doing the same thing on a lot of sites I manage. Is there an "easy" way to sync databases for each site or have one central location to manage attempts in a simpler fashion? In other words share and sync my admin tools information pertaining to these attempts.

Thanks!

It is usually not possible to share IP blacklists among multiple sites due to permissions issues. You can export and import the IP blacklists under Export Settings. But you shouldn't.

Hackers do not use their own IP addresses. If you ban the IP they are currently using, they just change IP numbers. You aren't really banning the hacker, you are banning a proxy server or a compromised computer. These days most IP assignments are dynamic, so even if it is the hacker's real IP, it will be different tomorrow. Sooner or later you are going to ban an IP of a legitimate visitor to your website, just because a hacker used it once upon a time.

That is why the Web Application Firewall does the auto ban. You can ban the IP address after x number of attempts in y minutes/hours/days for z amount of time. At the end of the ban period, the ban on the IP is automatically released. You can set it up so that if an IP is auto banned multiple times, it is added to the permanent ban list.
