I really like the user interface for Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup - I find that the layout copes well with a large number of options in a way that I find quite natural and logical. I also like the idea of having detailed tooltips that can be copied if necessary to provide additional support snippets.
However when I am updating the configuration I find that I have to constantly having to dismiss tooltips by scrolling down the page, and hover over a differnt label in order to activate a different tooltip, so that I can see the text hidden behind the originally activated tooltip.
Typically the sequence is this:
- I inadvertently hover over a label and a tooltip pops up
- Now I can't see the text beneath the tooltip
- I can't dismiss the tooltip by clicking on the page, and there is no dismiss button
- So I scroll down the page and hover over a lower label to bring up its tooltip
- Now I can see the text that was previously hidden
- But now I can't see the text underneath the most recently popped-up tooltip
- {repeat}
I would happily live with a toggle that turns off the tooltips (I made a bookmarklet to do that at one stage!) - though I guess an ideal situation would be to add a 'dismiss' button to each tooltip.
Is it possible for me to over-ride the default tooltip behavior in some way?
