Hi, I am getting emails from Admin Tools about template= in URL. In checking the Security Exceptions Log, I find a number of similar entries:
http://mysite.com/index.php/component/mailto/?tmpl=component&template=jsn_boot_ml&link=fe1bdb38abdf83786cd39e14a96f8c5037068e0d
I see from the doc that it could be something to do with Allow site templates https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/admin-tools/web-application-firewall.html#waf-configure and I found a support ticket that explained how to write an Exception https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/admin-tools/22272-reason-template-in-url-2-2.html
The template name in the URL is the correct one being used. I only use one template as default at the moment.
The only reason I raise this ticket is to ask if I should be worried about the fact all the events are mailto ? Or am I being to paranoid and should just set the Allow site templates.
Thanks, Mike

Hello,

when clicking on the "mailto" link, Joomla will always add the current template in the URL.
If you are going to use the mailto feature, you have to enable site templates, otherwise your customers (or the search engine crawlers) will be blocked.
