Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

A number of our users keep getting the message when they try and login

'The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token'

The only way they seem to get around it is leaving the site and coming back 10 mins later.

I have looked around and seen references to Admin Tools and HTaccess on the joomla forum , but from years ago.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on this?

Thanks

Hello,

this message comes from Joomla itself, it's not related to any Akeeba software.

This happens when your browser cached the login form and the associated security token. However, such tokens have an expiration, so if you try to login, Joomla will complain since the token is no longer valid.

This is an harmless issue, simply reload the page or try again to login and your user will be able to authenticate

Davide, Thanks for explaining that. I did not think it was Admin Tools, but it was better to check.
