I am currently trying out the Linguise translation component on a Joomla website. I'm very impressed with the quality of its translations, but starting today, I'm getting a 403 - "blocked by Admin Tools" message whenever I try to switch from English to one of the translated languages. Nothing is showing in the Blocked Request Log, although the "Do not log these reasons" field is empty.

Linguise support suggested adding the site's IP address to the IP whitelist, which I did, but there's no change. I've tried disabling all of the options under Request Filtering but that also made no difference. Disabling the plugin does, of course, allow the translated pages to be loaded.

Do you know of any conflicts between Linguise and Admin Tools? Any troubleshooting suggestions?

No, do not add the IP to the whitelist. The whitelist (exclusive allow IP list) is only there to determine which IPs get exclusive access to the backend of the site.

What you need to do is go to Components, Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, Exceptions tab. Add the IP address in the Never Block These IPs list (it's a comma–separated list).

Furthermore, go to 

Components, Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall and make sure that IP address is not in Site IP Disallow List. Finally, use the Unblock an IP feature entering this service's IP address to make sure any records in the Blocked Requests Log, Auto IP Blocking Administration and Auto IP Blocking History with this IP address are also removed.
