Dear Nicholas,

 

I have just a generic short question.

 

So finally i finished with a big big task i was working on with my webhost for three days... :D

 

I migrated to a real dedicated server from my old VPS account.

With this change i changed from Almalinux 8 with WHM and CPANEL to Cent OS7 with PLESK.

 

Also my server IP address is changed.

Also a lot of things changed in the file structure as PLESK is totally different.

 

And here comes my question.

 

Because of this, do some additional configuration needed in admin tools or in akeeba backup?

What i did so far i changed the log path and the temp path because its different in plesk.

 

I was thinking about to uninstall admin tools and reinstall it, but i was afraid to do that at the end.

 

Can you please tell me if this change requires something else in admin tools or Akeeba backup?

Hello,

the short answer is: there's nothing you should change in your Admin Tools / Akeeba Backup configuration.

Joomla and our extensions are always working using relative paths, so you can freely move around your website without worrying too much about where you are. The only things that you should check are the paths to log/tmp folder and the output folder in Akeeba Backup. In 99% of cases is already using a relative path, but in some cases there could be an absolute path that you'd have to update.
