So I made up my site on a test site - admin tools worked just fine

Then I made up a brand new site using the backup and kickstart like I always do (Great program)

Then on the new site I went to Admin tools it needed the file to be recreated (the warring at the top) I clicked it and I get

rivergrovemedicalclinic.ca redirected you too many times.

ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS   So I was like OH - so I put in back in the joomla .htaccess default file and I was back up and running - And I could get back in to the site   - then went back to admin tools to regenerate the .htaccess file and still get that same msg. - So I thought something happened so I uninstalled and then reinstalled the ADMIN TOOLs - And when I make up the .htaccess file I still get the above msg.   Thanks not sure why it worked on my DEV site but now its on the live site and not working (same server nothing has change)

Update just updated to the most current version of I had 7.2.3 just put on 7.4.8

I have this on all my other site but this one doens't like it for some reason?

Check your configuration.php file. You should have

public $live_site = '';

If the $live_site is not empty, make it empty. I believe that it reads something like

public $live_site = 'http://www.example.com';

which tells Joomla! to always redirect from HTTPS back to HTTP. The HSTS setting tells the browser to always redirect from HTTP to HTTPS. You see the problem now? The browser goes from HTTP to HTTPS. The server tells it to go back to HTTP. The HSTS setting tells it to go back to HTTPS. The server says no, dammit, go back to HTTP. And so on and so forth until it happens for 20 times and the browser goes "You know what, guys? Sod that! I can't display this page because there are too many redirects."
