Hi,

I have for the last week been getting a sustained attempt to hack my site. Admin tools is doing its job very well. My problem is that the login attempts are coming from different ip addresses every 15mins or so. When I look the ips up they are all from from the Russian Federation. I have set the Geo plugin to block Ip's from Russia but I am still getting them. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello,

no, you're doing it right, but please remember that Geo Blocking is not an exact science.
First of all, the IP database could be outdated, moreover we're using the free version of MaxMind IP database. This version has a lower accuracy, so it means that you could experience some false negatives (ie visitors not being blocked).
