Please tell me how to unable the thousands of notification email about "Update available". I dont want them at all. I have been trying to unable them without success.

I understand that you can not login in our systems to change this, but you are the one who programmed the plugins.

In joomla 3.2.3 there is not plug in called ''Akeeba Backup Update Notification", but there two plugins "Quick Icon - Akeeba Backup Notification" and "System - Akeeba Backup Update Check".

I tried to disable "Quick Icon - Akeeba Backup Notification" in vain. Please hep me to solve this. Otherwise, thank you for creating one of the best Joomla extentions.

Its name changed in later versions, the plugin you have to disable is System - Akeeba Backup Update Check
