EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I am having trouble with my joomla website and read the ticket above.

The main reason I am still using Joomla 3.2.3. is that I have had trouble restoring my backups and am feeling quite nervous about it all .... but now think I may have been using wrong versions of xampp and akeeba/kickstart.

After reading this ticket I uninstalled my Akeeba 4.2.0 pro that I downloaded on 1 June 2015 and NOW do not know which one to download and install.

If I can get one backup done I am happy to upgrade. Can you please advise me?

thank you

Caz

Hello Carole,

please take a look at the Compatibility page to find the correct version for your site.
On side news, I strongly suggest you to update your Joomla installation, since the branch 3.2.x is supposed to be used only on old version of PHP 5.3
