EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

When I remove the obsolete backup files Akeeba removes all the backups, I have tried that on my live site and in xampp. It happens in both.

best regards Cees Duijndam

That would only happen if all your backup records are using the same backup archive name. Check your profile's configuration. What is the Backup Archive Name? Does it contain any macros (variables) like [HOST], [DATE] or [TIME]? If not, the observed behaviour is the intended one: all your backup records are pointing to the same file. You only ever have one backup, the latest.
