EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Continual failure of the final step of backup which is transferring to S3. I can't seem to figure out why.

I can't figure out why without a backup log. :-)

If the file won't upload, even when it is zipped, you can just throw it on a file service, Dropbox, etc., and post the link and I'll go get it.

I sure thought I attached a file. Here is the link:

Sometimes if the file is too big, it won't attach.

You have a 1.7 Gb backup archive that you're trying to upload to S3. That's a VERY big file, even with S3's multi-part upload. Let's set a part size and see if we get batter results. Go to Configure, on the Archiver Engine line, click the Configure button and set the Part size for split archives to about 500. That will give you four parts to your backup. Let's see if that will upload to S3.

Looks like it worked. Thanks Dale. I appreciate your help.

You can play with the part size to find out where it quits, then back off a bit. Keep in mind that this is sensitive to server load, internet speed and S3 load. Or just leave it alone, it works.

You're welcome!
