Joomla! version: (1.5.25)
PHP version: (5.2.17)
MySQL version: (5.0.67)
Host: (http://www.basgraphicsupport.nl)
Akeeba Backup version: (3.3.13)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
The backup stopped working!
It did work and i didn't change anything to the site and FTP server. (i use save to FTP on my own nas) I had the update error of Admin Tools Core 2.2.a3 around the time the ackup stopped. but fixed it after reading you fix here on this site. Thats the only thing that has changed.

It is the same on another site of mine.

The backup protocol works good as far as i can see, the timeout is max 20sec.
I'm guessing that it can't upload the backup to FTP but when i check the settings and try them i get the connection successful message.

After a manual backup i get this message:
Uploading /home/basgra01/domains/basgraphicsupport.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup/site-www.basgraphicsupport.nl-20120203-095506.jpa has failed.
Failed to process file /home/basgra01/domains/basgraphicsupport.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup/site-www.basgraphicsupport.nl-20120203-095506.jpa
Post-processing interrupted -- no more files will be transferred

I also posted the log file for you.

Like i mentioned earlier it worked fine before, the last backup trough a cronjob was on 10-01-2012.

Admin Tools is completely irrelevant to this issue. It doesn't run in the back-end. It is not even loaded when using the backup.php command-line script. And it doesn't prevent the front-end backup URL which is used either solo or with altbackup.php. Moreover, your backup executes and completes, so there is nothing blocking it.

A look at your log file tells me that the upload failed after half to one second. This can indicate one of the following (inclusive list):
- Wrong FTP connection parameters (hostname, username or password). Please go to your Akeeba Backup configuration and re-enter the FTP information. Verify that the settings are correct by using a third party FTP application with the exact same connection parameters, as well as using the browse button to browse for an FTP directory. Pay special attention to FTPS (it should be unchecked for regular FTP servers) and the Passive mode.
- Inadequate permissions on the target FTP server's directory. Please try uploading something to that directory, connected with the same connection details as those specified in Akeeba Backup, using a third party FTP application.
- The target FTP server is full or you have reached your user's quota. Same as above.
