Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I am setting up a development site on the same server but in a new c panel live site is rainbowrv. com development is rainbowrv.org
Backup went well, moved full site 1.6 gigs to the development folder. kickstart worked well, I am unable to log in.
I do see that I am logged in when I go to the front end because the module 'who is on line' shows me in. I try and log on with registered user names and can see that they too get logged on but I lose control of the session or something because when I try and get to a restricted page it says to log-in.
One curios note i found while searching for a resolve in your forum was https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/site-restoration/Ticket/24902-after-moving-site-from-dev-server-to-production-for-testing-can-t-log-in.html
the user in that thread also had 'sc login enabled' . I have that login and also a joomla to jomsocial registration link.
Please advise

I was reading further and decided to load up a another attempt over the last one and it works now. I was just about to quote out the line in my htaccess file for non www to www and give that a try but the install worked . the only other changes I made this time was in naming the site details screen in kickstart. I would like to see the best recommended input when a development site is being cloned.
Thanks for your attention but I guess I started crying too soon.
