Hi,

Our CRON job fails, we are running PHP 7.0.

We noticed that we do not have a usr/local/bin/php directory so are not sure where the cli is located. We are on Debian 9.

Thanks

dlb
The location of the PHP-CLI binary varies from one host to another so you will have to ask your host what the proper path is. You need to be very specific that you're looking for command line PHP, their default answer will give you the wrong one. You may also find the answer in your host's FAQ lists.

We are self hosting so there is no host provider to ask. We have Debian 9 and PHP 7.0 setup.

Google tells me that php-cli is a separate package in Debian, so you need to make sure that it is installed. And another page suggests that the path is /usr/bin/php.

I changed the path to /usr/bin/php as you suggested and now the CRON backups are working. Thanks Dale!
