Hi! Our remote backup server was offline for a while and so some of our backups remained on the server.

We used the 'transfer archive' button to move the files to our server. But when there were multiple backup files (larger backups) not all files were transferred. The ones with the number were not transferred.

Is this a bug? Or is it technically not possible to transfer all the files belonging to this backup?

Another related question: When we transfer the backup in this scenario, the backup on the server is not removed after transfer? This does happen when the backup is executed. But not when using the transfer button in the backup list?

Kind regards,
Jip

Hello,

what's your post-processing engine?
Akeeba Backup attempts to reprocess the backups using your current configuration from the profile.
This means that if you changed it (for example you changed the part size), this could result in something different.
On the other hand, if you are uploading to an FTP server, there's chances that the remote server will drop the connection if you are transferring too many files consequentially.

Finally, can you please try to take a backup? Is it correctly uploaded with all of its parts?

Hi Davide,

We use 'Upload to Remote FTP server using cURL'.

This works fine (parts of 30MB) when a backup is taken. We did not change anything.

But last night our remote FTP server was down so the uploads failed. When we tried to upload them from the backup list the 'numbered' files did not upload, so we just started a new backup and that worked fine.

Kind regrads,
Jip

I'm glad everything worked fine.
In the meanwhile I'll take some time to investigate this issue and see if I can replicate it.
