Hi,

I just a little question about the save system of Akeeba.

I have this :

My joomla website is installed here : /www/website/joomlawebsite

I have too a script separatly of my jooma website here : /www/website/joomlawebsite/script

My joomla have a DB ans my script have a different DB.

I go to my akkeba backup default profile and I tell to save the script DB too.

Ok, now when I launch a backup... Akkeba backup save all ? he take the full directory /www/website/joomliwebsite with /script ? AND the 2 DB ?

Another question : Can I restore only my script DB ? maybe I need to create another profile to save only the script DB ?

Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english, I hope it's clear ;-)

Olivier.

Akeeba Staff
Hello,

Akeeba Backup will include that folder automatically.
If your custom tables are inside the same database, there's nothing you have to do, they are automatically included.
If they are on a different database, you have to manually add it by using the Multiple Databases Definitions page.

If you want to backup only your custom tables, you can create a new backup profile and set its type to Database only. Then inside the Database Tables Exclusions you have to exclude all tables except your custom ones. In this way you can backup only your custom tables and restore them.
