Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Hi there,
I tryed the backup several times, but it failed again.
First error message:
Akeeba\Engine\Dump\Base :: Database Error: SELECT command denied to user '60_cms'@'localhost' for table 'j3a9_updates' SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) FROM `kanzle1_joomla`.`j3a9_updates`

DB name is 60_cms, not kanzle1_joomla. I added the DB name to the default backup profile, but nothing changed.
I also looked in the table j3a9_updates but couldn´t find an entry named kanzle1_joomla nor anything which has to do with the database.
latest log is attached

Thank you for your help,
Sabine

There seems to be a problem in your database. When we ask MySQL to list the tables there's a table literally named "kanzle1_joomla.j3a9_updates" (with the dot in the middle). The dot in the middle is what is causing the backup to fail. This table is not used by your site and was probably created by you in error.

Please connect to your site's hosting control panel. Use the database administration there (typically phpMyAdmin) to find that table and remove it.

Alternatively, you can use the Exclude Database Tables feature in Akeeba Backup to exclude this table from the backup (click the icon in the leftmost column next to that table to make it yellow -- this means it will not be part of the backup).
