Description of my issue:

I use WebDAV to distribute my backup files from Akeeba Backup Pro to an external location (STACK). In the configuration i have set a target folder where the files should end up. This has always worked fine and i have been using this fro quit some time now. SInce a short while the files all end up in the root of my WebDAV location. This is an unwanted situation.

I have seen in the support forum from Akeeba, that in 2014 someone had the same issue, but the answer you gave then is not enough in this time and age.

I manage a lot of websites. Everywebsite uses Akeeba and all is automated with CRON jobs etc. So i don't want to have all backups in one folder

I have done a check on my personal website (Witlox.tk) where i still have version 6.3.2 installed. With this website all is working fine. It's on the same server as other websites and running PHP 7.3.14
