Hi,

I'm trying to restore (on a dev server) an archive from one I downloaded from the production site.

I put the jpa file in the tmp folder and import it with the "import file" procedure. The discover and selection of the file works well but after I clicked on "import file", I go the "manage backups" list and the imported one is listed as "obsolete" and can't be restored.

Yhe error message is "The archive could not be located" and, indeed, the file has not been copied in the (default) backup folder.

Am I missing something or is ther an issue here?
Note that any other "normal" archive can be restored normally.
Notre also that I experienced the same issue on another Website.

Let's try putting the backup archive in the Output Folder as defined in your Configuration settings, then try to import it from there.

HI,
indeed, by putting in the Output folder, the importation works.
That seems coherent but I think the doc says you can put the file anywhere on the site. Maybe a change in behaviour?
Anyway, thanks for the help.

You're right, the documentation clearly says the archive can be anywhere. The screen shot example shows it coming from the default Output folder. I don't think I ever tried to import them from anywhere except the Output folder.
