Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: 5.2.14
MySQL version: 5.0.77
Host: GoDaddy (I know ... I know)
Akeeba Backup version: 3.4.3

Description of my issue:

This is the weird part. The Live Update module for Admin Tools, works fine. Shows the proper notice that I've got the latest version of Admin Tools. I click on that module's icon, and the said module shows basically 'green' ...

I go to Akeeba Backup, and the Live Update module tells me that "Live Update is not supported". I click on the module icon, and get the "Live Update is not supported on this server" message. cURL is installed, and the allow_url_fopen and allow_url_includes are both set to on.

Can't figure why one is not working and the other is.

Thanks.

Go to Akeeba Backup's Live Update page and see the URL in your browser's address bar. Append &force=1 to it and press Enter. Does it work now?

Unfortunately, no ... and I just verified on another computer so that there wouldn't be any uncleared cache or anything like that. Admin tools is 'green', Akeeba Backup is 'red'.

Should I just try to reinstall a 3.4.3?? Not uninstall, just install it again?

If more than 24 hours have lapsed and the status hasn't changed, yes, please try uninstalling and installing again.

Thanks, Nicholas, the uninstall and reinstall fixed the problem.
