Quartermaster
I cannot find clarification on this e-mail received.

"Since Akeeba Backup 3.5.0, you are not supposed to use the backup.php script file inside Akeeba Backup's directory. Instead, please use the akeeba-backup.php file located inside your site's cli directory.
This file is going to be removed in Akeeba Backup 3.6.0."

I don't know how to "use" the correct file, is there a pointer, or configuration file I need to edit? I am up to date with 3.5.1

Of course there is! It's our updated documentation page for the Native CRON Script :)

You'd save dolts like me a lot of time if you'd just put that link in the e-mail. :-D

LoL! When I rewrote the script I hadn't updated the documentation yet. It was a chicken and egg issue :)

So, in the beginning of the instructions I see that I need to use a "double dash" for parameters, but in the Cron Setup example, you use a single dash. Which is correct?

Double dash. I'm now using Joomla!'s own JApplicationCli and it demands using double dashes. I have made a typo in the documentation page.

Glad to be your proofreader. It's the least I can do for all you do for us!
