inordinate amount of processor time
Joomla! version: 1.5.26
PHP version: 5.2
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: Host Gator
Akeeba Backup version: 3.4

Description of my issue: Database Blocked for inordinate amount of processor time

I was running the backup and got errors:
AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 500 (Internal Server Error)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:
Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:User 'jean_jo151' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 1) SQL=SET sql_mode = 'MYSQL40'

Attempted it several times, checked available disc space, etc

Then had my account and database blocked due to the excessive
processor time. I think the last error message was during the
time the started to block it.

Is there anything I can do to help avoid this problem. I do have a large
database now, so that may be the issue.

thanx

Backing up a site is a resource intensive process. All we can do is to throttle the backup down to make it spread out the resources use over a longer period of time so that your host doesn't complain. In the Configuration page use these settings:

- Minimum execution time: 5 second
- Maximum execution time: 3 seconds
- Runtime bias: 50%

This will make the backup about 4-5 times slower than it is right now.
