MySQL version: 5.1.63-cll

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: I am able to backup my site, but I get an AJAX Loading Error, HTTP Status: 500 when I try to update to the latest version of either Akeeba Backup or AdminTools Pro during the restore point process. Can you help please?

I disabled the system restore point and logged out and back in again but there still seems to be a backup process that is triggered during the upgrade.

Best, Tim

Disabling Akeeba extensions did not work for me, so I tried to install from fresh copies I downloaded from this site. I had to change the install to the standard installer but then it worked. It is odd since the backups seem to work fine.

I have disabled the restore point extension.
