Description of my issue:
Not so much an issue rather than an annoyance. Since I installed Akeeba Backup there have been a couple of updates. Each time I have updated, the Lazy Scheduling plugin gets enabled automatically. This causes slow loading of my site, therefore I have to disable it each time. I thought that I had uninstalled it once, although,I could be mistaken. What I would like to know is; if Lazy Scheduling is not recommended for use and is not supported, then why is it still a part of the core installation? Are there plans to remove it from future updates?

Hm, the Lazy Scheduling plugin is included with the component but never gets automatically activated. I am not sure why this happens on your site, but it hasn't happened on anyone else and I can't replicate it on any test or live server :s

The plugin is not recommended for live sites and deprecated. It's still included in the distribution so that its users have adequate time to find an alternative solution before the plugin is dropped and forcibly removed on component installation in Akeeba Backup 3.7. At some point, in May 2011, I did try removing it. You know how huge jerks people can be? I certainly found out that day and had to release a new version of the component which includes this plugin so that people stop busting my balls and leave me in peace so that I can actually work.
