Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? yes
Joomla! version: 1.5.26
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: Hostgator
Akeeba Backup version: 3.2.7 Pro

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Whether saving locally or uploading to Amazon S3, only a small file of approx 182,215kb is saved. I removed all other backup files in the local directory and it still only saves the small file (it should be about 30Mb bigger than that). The max file size is set to 50Mb.

I upgraded another Joomla 1.5.26 site to 3.2.7 Pro and ran a backup. Now it also fails to save an entire backup (both log files are in the ZIP). Previously, both sites saved a full backup. The second site I backed up on July 27 with a file size of 37Mb. The backup from today was 182,315kb.

You seem to have installed Akeeba Backup 3.2.7 on top of what seems to be a failed installation of a later version. Please remove the following folders:
- administrator/components/com_akeeba EXCEPT the administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup directory and the administrator/components/com_akeeba/akeeba/serverkey.php file. If you remove that directory and that file you will lose your existing backups and/or settings.
- components/com_akeeba
- administrator/modules/mod_akadmin
- media/com_akeeba
- plugins/system/plg_srp
- plugins/system/plg_akeebaupdatecheck
- plugins/system/plg_aklazy
- plugins/system/plg_oneclickaction
Now you can re-install Akeeba Backup Professional 3.2.7 on that site and the problem should have gone away.
