Hi and first of all sorry for my bad english.

I bought the akeeba backup professional version and i have one question about "Send backup archives to yourself by email".

I didnt find it. Where can I set this, that I will get the backups by email?

Hi Michael,

Don't worry about your English. It's just fine. I am not a native English speaker either :)

The option you are looking for can be found in the Configuration page of Akeeba Backup. In the "Data processing engine" drop-down select "Send by email". Then click on the "Configure..." button next to it. A new pane opens below where you can enter your email address.

Please note that sending archives by email is restricted to small file sizes, around 2Mb. So you have to do one more step. On the same Configuration page find the Archiver Engine drop-down. Next to it there is a "Configure..." button. Click on it. Set the "Part size for split archives" to 2Mb.

And now you're ready!
