Description of my issue: Backup freezes at Updating statistics, whatever I choose to back-up.

Akkeba Backup works fine on other site but not at current site

Having a backup process stuck at the "Updating statistics" step, not seeing any backups in the Manage Backups page or not being able to save your settings is an indication of missing tables from your Akeeba Backup installation. Most usually this is caused on sites which have been upgraded from old versions of Joomla!, e.g. 1.5, using a third party tool like jUpgrade and SP Upgrade. These tools seem to be transferring the files of the component but not its database tables.

The first thing you should try is reinstalling Akeeba Backup without uninstalling it first. You have to do this twice.

If this doesn't help, you'll have to uninstall and reinstall the component. Please do not that when you do that all your existing backup archives may be deleted during the uninstallation. Make sure that you have copied all backup archives you want to keep in your local computer or any other storage medium outside of your server.

First tried to reinstall (twice) but succeeded with uninstaal and than install. Works fine now, keep up the good work at Akeeba!
