EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

i can't install akeeba backup 3.6.12 qnd tried 3.6.11.

i get the error:

There was an error uploading this file to the server.

i manage to install other extensions so i don't thonk its an ftp problem.

i have warning, php temporary directory is not set, but in my configuration.php a directory is set.

what to do else ?

This is a server issue. Most likely your server is configured with a very small limit for uploading files. Since Akeeba Backup is a big package you have to use the manual installation as explained in our User's Guide: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/installation-updates-upgrades.html#installation-manual
