Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

I had a site e-serco.net with AB installed.
When I made the backup I did not know which folder the file was written to.
I know that in other sites that had no hyphen the file is located in Administrator > Components > com_akeeba > backup.
Please advise.

The hyphen in the name is unrelated to the backup location. The backup location is set in each backup profile's Configuration, in the Output Directory field towards the top of the page. This is where your backup archives are stored.
