The problem is that when I get this error, my backup failed. I have the issue on several sites.

The process configuration for backup is 1s, 3s, and 50%. It used to work well but now half of the daily backups fail.

jMonitoring tells me that the backup is still running, even after hours.

An idea?

As I said in your previous ticket, what you think is a problem is, in fact, not a problem. You have a different problem. If you paste me the log file from a failed backup I can tell you what is the real issue and how to fix it.

I think it comes from Webcron parameters which I'm using to lunch my backups. I will try differents settings for few days to see if it works better.

Thanks for your help.

May I suggest you one thing? Akeeba Backup sends an email when the back up is good, but it would be nice to get a mail even when the backup fails. Except that, your software is incredibly helpfull. Thanks a lot.

The warning logged in your backup log definitely does not come from WebCron parameters. A failed backup can come from that. You need to set up the maximum execution time of the WebCron cron job to be higher than the time required to backup your site.

Impossible. When a backup fails it means that the PHP execution was halted for some reason. Since PHP has stopped executing I cannot have the PHP script which has stopped executing send an email. If that was a catchable error it would have been caught and worked around. So, no, that's impossible.
