Joomla! version: 2.5.8
PHP version: 5.2
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: GoDaddy

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:  When trying to install a new module I get the following server error:

The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.1stimpressionresumes.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_akeeba&view=installer&task=extract&8d7949a2fdb0997c07e1ff40b4e47c26=1. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Disabling the Akeeba enhanced installer allows installation.

This doesn't make any sense. The extract task is exactly what Joomla! does (extraction of the installation package) using Joomla!'s own code. I have no idea what's going on there. I need to see the exact error from the error log.

I just ran a backup whichworked fine, so retried an install - failed as before.  I'm attaching the log, but, on glancing at it, there doesn't seem to be anything in it regarding the failed attempt.

Cheers.

I didn't explain this correctly. I don't want to see the backup / system restore point log. I want to see the entry from the server's error log. If there is a PHP fatal error recorded pertaining to the installation I need to know what it is so that I can help you.
