Joomla! version: (2.5.8)
PHP version: (5.2.17)
MySQL version: (5.1.66)
Host: (Rochen)
Akeeba Backup version: (Akeeba Backup Professional 3.6.12 (2013-01-04))

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hi - I've contacted the host (Rochen) who have told me they don't know why this is happening. There don't seem to be any permissions issues, and the transfer is from a Rochen MVS to a Rochen business account. The error I keep getting is:
.......................................................................

Backup Failed

The backup operation has been halted because an error was detected.
The last error message was:

AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 500 (Internal Server Error)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:

.......................................................................

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much,

Adam

There's a 570Mb file. No way you will ever succeed transferring that with FTP through PHP. It's too large and will always cause a timeout. Besides, you don't seem to need it transferred. Just exclude this large file :)
