Joomla! version: 2.5.9 stable
PHP version: 5.3.6
MySQL version: 5.1.66
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Akeeba Backup version: 3.6.10 Professional

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I cannot upgrade Akeeba Pro from 3.6.10 to 3.6.12. I am trying to do this from the admin backend, It finds the available upgrade but when I click to upgrade, it gives me the following error:

Downloading the update package failed. Make sure that your temp-directory is writable or that you have enabled Joomla!'s FTP options in your site's Global Configuration.

I do have my Download ID plugged into the Component Parameters.

I have made sure my FTP is working and the temp directory is writable.

When I try and manually download the file from the provided link, it gives me a 403 Access Forbidden error.

Please click on My Instructions on AkeebaBackup.com and follow the instructions to re-enter your Download ID. Please remember to follow the instructions in the last two paragraphs as well. If you don't Live Update won't see the updated Download ID.
