EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Akeeba Backup has detected that its database tables are corrupt. This indicates a problem with your MySQL server. Please make sure that your host has at least MySQL 4.1 (5.0 or later recommended). Then try uninstalling and re-install the component. Backups can not be made unless this problem is fixed.

This has happened on two websites. I have contact my dedicated server company called Hetzner who confirmed that I am running MySql 5.1.66

It would really help me to know your Joomla! (I believe it's 2.5.9 based on the screenshot), PHP and Akeeba Backup version. I'd also like to know if you have recently upgraded from a Joomla! 1.5, 1.6 or 1.7 site (if so, which) which had Akeeba Backup already installed (if so, please specify the version) using jUpdate or SP Upgrade (if so, please specify which one).

OK, that's what I thought. You will have to uninstall and reinstall Akeeba Backup. Please remember that this will remove all settings and all backups stored in the default backup directory (administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup). If you have backup files you want to keep in that directory please download them to your local computer before uninstalling the existing version.
