Joomla! version: (3.0.3)
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Akeeba Backup version: (3.7.3)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I am trying to move my site from a development folder to the site root.Β  Everything is fine until I enter the database info.Β  I get a message that the database has been restored and click next then I get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare J30Config::$display_offline_message in /home/content/s/t/a/standib/html/installation/angie/models/jconfig/j30.php on line 68

Can you tell me what is wrong?

We have identified two bugs in the restoration script (ANGIE) included with Akeeba Backup 3.7.3. This is one of them. We released Akeeba Backup version 3.7.4 today which addresses them. You will need to install it on your site (please do it twice, to work around a known Joomla! issue), take a new backup and use the new backup to transfer your site. Please note that this is necessary because the restoration script (ANGIE) is included inside the backup archive at backup time. It cannot be retroactively and automatically applied to existing backup archives.

I don't fully understand your instructions.Β  I went to the Akeeba control panel and updated To 3.7.4.Β  You write to do it twice to work around a Joomla issue but the Akeeba control panel now says I have the current version so I cannot perform another update.Β  Please advise.

Yes, you're right. Please download Akeeba Backup Professional 3.7.4 from our site and install it on your site, without uninstalling your existing version. That counts as a second installation in the context of our instructions.

I followed your instructions and was able to move my site successfully.Β  Thank you.

Now I have a question about the double upgrade process.Β  Do I now need to perform the double upgrade process each and every time for all of my Joomla sites?Β  Forever?

No, it's only required on major upgrades. These happen once or twice every year. Basically, if right after installing an upgrade something's not quite right then do a second installation just to be sure.

Just to be clear.Β  All my other sites have already been upgraded to 3.7.2.Β  These can be upgraded normally?Β  The next double upgrade will be 3.8.x?

The next big upgrade will be 3.9 or 4.0. Only minor features and bug fixes will be present in 3.8, so don't worry :)

Thank you but do my remaining sites that are running 3.7.2 need the special double upgrade to get 3.7.4?

Most likely not, but if you want to be on the safe side do a double installation. It can't do any harm.
