Joomla! version: 2.5.9
PHP version: 5.3.21
MySQL version: 5.1.68
Host: innohosting.com
Akeeba Backup version: 3.7.4

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I have akeebabackup running succesfully on multiple client sites on the same webserver. I recently migrated a client from Joomla 1.5.25 to 2.5.9 and using exactly the same cron job settings I use for my other client sites on the same webserver I keep getting "no input file specified".

I have checked the PHP path and it is correct. In the view log section I can only see backend log, there is no cron log option.

Is there anything obvious that would stop the cron job from working. I'm stumped as the configuration seems to be identical to my other working sites.

The "No input file specified" comes from the PHP binary you're using in your CRON job. Please contact your host for support. They should be able to tell you if you're using the correct binary or if you're missing anything, e.g. an argument in the CRON command-line.

Problem solved.

I had missed out the leading / in the cron job i.e. it was home/..... instead of /home/....

You won't believe how many times I checked that command line against a known working version!

Don't worry, this happens to all of us. You wouldn't believe how many hours of my life I have wasted looking for a missing equals sign or semicolon in my code :)
