Description of my issue:
Hi Nicholas,

I have renewed my subscriptions to both Akeeba backup and Admin Tools. And I found your new packages "essential" even more attractive for prospective customers, well done!

But in my case, I have now the new Essential subscription starting on 01/05, and the two single subs for Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools, finishing on 17/05.
Actually I just wanted to renew both of them before the last 15 days to avail a better price, but the new package was cheaper. Then it did not retain the renewal date. DId I miss something, or maybe that is just a case where the great "Akeeba Subscription" component can not "upgrade"?

Kind regards,
Hervé

Hello Hervé,

When moving from individual component subscriptions to a bundle subscription during the last 60 days of your subscription there is no upgrade made. You get to buy a new subscription on a different subscription level which means that you do lose subscription time. It's the only hole in the system. Trying to handle that involves so much code and complexity that I decided it'd be best to simply extend such subscriptions manually. Which is what I just did for you :)

Hello Nicholas,

I understand, and I don't really think it is a hole in the system. You are absolutely right to do it manually, what a headache to try to figure out every case to handle it in the system!! And I suppose you don't change your subscription plans often, so there is not too much work ;-)

Thank you for extending my subscription for your great products and services!!

All the Best,
Hervé

I only change the subscription levels once every two years, so I think the loophole is really tiny :D
